200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

AYR has the 200 hrs Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh [200 hrs YTTC] for a duration of 22 days. It is a residential as well as a non-residential course that includes basic as well as an advanced level of yogic studies. You may apply for the 200 hrs TTC course even if you haven’t done the 100 hrs ytt course. This course is generally for aspirants who have been introduced to the practice of yoga at some level. The curriculum designed for this course includes studies at an advanced level with theoretical and practical sessions.

Theory Classes:

You learn about Yoga science and philosophy at a deeper level in these sessions. There are explanatory lessons about the Asanas and Kriyas, where you learn how every posture or movement or activity impacts your being. You learn about the techniques which are used while performing certain asanas and why they are required. Q n A sessions are interactive where you discuss your queries with your fellow yogis and learn the various stances to the same topic.

Practical Classes:

The practical classes of yoga are divided throughout the day. Starting with cleansing, pranayama you move to more advanced asanas. You practically learn about the techniques and the tools which are used as a catalyst in performing these asanas. The various Kriyas are performed timely. At the 200 hrs ttc you learn more complex Asanas and Kriyas and are required to be more disciplined as you are moving ahead in your yogic yatra. (let me know if  more is to be added)

Ashtanga Yogapeeth Rishikesh has a clean sanitised kitchen and a simple satvik menu for our students. Robert Urich said, “A healthy outside starts from the inside,” so good food is a must for all, especially for a yogi. We are as simple as the food we eat, and nothing is as pious as a yogi’s life. We provide three meals a day plus tea and snacks in the evening.
